A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CLERK AND THE CITY TREASURER OF THE
CITY OF PORT ST, LUCIE, FLORIDA, TO FILE A NOTICE OF LIEN IN THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR NONPAYMENT OF
LIGNTING DISTRICT ASSESSMENTS; PRUVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOTICE OF LIEN
TO THE PUBLIC AND TO ALL IJHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port St. Lucie did,
by Fort St. Lucie~ Florida,-Resolution_78-2, February 14, 1978,
establish Lighting District ~~8 for the provision of ~street lighting
within an area described by said Resolution, and
WHEREAS. said Resolution provided that the Lighting Districts
be financed by special assessment on all real properties within the
district, and
WHEREAS, certain of the street lighting assessments for 1979,
Lighting District ~~8, remaind unpaid, and
WNEREAS, said assessments constitute a lien on the property,
yOW, THE!tEFORE~ BE IT RESOLVF:D by the City Council of the

City of Port St. Lucie:

1. That the City Clerk and the City Treasurer of the
City of Port St. LuciE be and they are hereby~directed to rnCord in

the Official Records of St. Lucie County, Florida, by recording through
the office•of the Clerk of the.Circuit Cour~, St. Lucie County, Florida,
all said assessment liens now outstanding and unpaid as per schedule
thereof attached hereto marked "Schedule A" and by reference incorporated
herein, which said assessment Iiens are co-equal with liens~of other
taxes, superio,r in dignity to aZl other liens, titles and claims, until
paid. ~ -
2. That the City Clerk shall forward a copy of this Resolu-
tion to each of the property owners listed on Schedule A.
3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption. ~~
