RESOLUTION 81-~
A RESOLUTION DIRECIING THE CLERK AND THE CITY TREASURER OF THE
CITY OF PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA, TO FILE A NOTICE OF LIEN IN THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR NONPAYMENT OF
LIGHTING DISTRICT ASSESSMENTS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOTICE UF LIEN
TO THE PUBLIC AND TO ALL tiTtiOM IT MAY CONCERN:
tdHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port St. Lucie did.
by Port St. Lucie, Florida, Resolution 76-9, April 13~ 1976, establish
Lighting District ~~S for the provision of street lighting within an
area described by said Resolution, and

WHEREAS, said Resolution provided Chat the Lighting Districts
be financed by special assessment on all real properties y~ithin the
dis~rict, and
WHEREAS, certain of the street lighting assessments for 1979, ~
Lighting District ~~5, remain unpaid, and
WHEREAS, said assessments constitute a lien on th~ property,
NOtJ, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Port St. Lucie:
1. That the City Clerk and the City Treasurer of the
City of Port St. Lucie be and they are hereby directed to record in
the Official Records of St. Lucie County, Florida~ by recording through
the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, St. Lucie County~ Florida.
all said assessment liens now outstanding and unpaid as per schedule
thereof attached hereto marked "Sct~dule A" and by reference incorporated
herein, which said assessment liens are co-equal with liens of other
taxes, superior in dignity~to all other liens, titles and ciaims, until
.
paid.
2. That the City Clerk shall forward a copy of this Resolu-
tion to each of the property owners listed on Schedule A.
3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
