C. The Bank is now the holder of the Note
and the Mortgage; and
D. The parties hereto desire to change and
raodify the Note and the Mortgage as hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises,
covenants, conditions and agreements herein contained, and
in further consideration of-the sum of TEN ($10:00) DOLLARS
to each in hand paid, the recei~tt of which is hereby ~ '
acknowledged by each of the parties hereto, it is mutually
covenanted.and agreed by and between the parties hereto as
follows:
1. The Note is hereby amended and modified
by the deletion of the phrase "the lst day of April, 1981,"
in the seventeenth (17th) line thereof, and the substitution
in lieu therefor of the phrase "the lst day of January, 1982,";
2. The Mortgage, securing the payment of the
Note, is hereby amended and modified as follows:
(a) In the fifth li ne of the paragraph
on the first page thereof which begins, "NOW,
THEREFORE, the conditions of this mortgage...,"
by the deletion of the date "April 1, 1931" and
by the substitution in lieu therefor of the date
"January 1, 1982"; ~
(b) In the third line of sub-paragraph (A)
• of paragraph 41. thereof, by the deletion of the
nwnber "twenty (20)" and by the substitution in
lieu therefor of the number "twenty-two (22)";

3. Except as modified hereby, all of the
