For value received~ the undersigned promise to pay~ w•ithout
defalcatior, to the order of T. J. LASSITER~ JR., and VALr1A ROBERTS
LASSITER at 715 Delaware Avenue, Fort Pierce. Florida, the sum of
Three Hundred Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars
with interest from date at the rate of 10~ per annum. in 20 equal
semi-annual installments, co~mnencing on August 25, 19$1.
Each installment first shall be applied in payment of the
interest and then on the unpaid balance of the principal sum. If
default is made in the payment of an~• installment when due. then at
the option of the holder~ and without any other notice, all the
remaining installments shali be due and pa}~able at once. Privilege
is given to pay two or more i~stallments at any installment maturity
date, but this shall not extend the time of murity of any subsequent
installment. Neither fc~rbearance, nor acceptance by the holder
hereof after an}• defau2t in any payment hereon. shall be deemed
extension.
Each maker, suret_y and endorser hereof, jointly and severally.
~,•aives demand, presentment. protest and notice of protest for non-
payment, and further agrees to any extension of time of payment.
either before or after maturity~ without notice to any of us; and
to pay all costs of collection. including a reasonable atterney's
fee in the event of any default hereunder. and hereby severally
waives all benefit of homestead and exemption under the constitution
and laws of each State of the United States, as against this obli-
gation or any extension or renewal hereof.
Makers shall have the right of prepayment, in whole or irr part,
without penalty.

and shall perform, comply with and abide by each and every the
agreements, stipulations, conditions and covenants thereof, and of
this mortgage, then this Mortgage and the estate hereby created,
shall cease, determine and be null and void.
