ORDE R
THIS CAUSE came on for hearing on the 26th day of February,
,
1981 on the Motion for Leave to File an Amended Complaint to add
a party defendant, namely American States Insurance Company. The
. Court has heard arguments of counsel and is otherwise advised in
the premises.
IT IS ORDERED AND ADJUDGED:
1. The Motion for Leave to File an ~lmended Complaint to
add a party defendant is granted.
2. The ore tenus Motion for Leave to Interlineate the
Amended Complaint and file an amendment to allege an aggra~ation
of a previous physical condition is granted.
3. Since the Court is advised that there is a denial of
coverage in issue, the coverage issue will be severed and a
separate trial will be held on that issue after the trial on the
liability claim of the Plaintiffs.

4. The Amended Complaint shall be deemed filed as of the

date of the entry of this Order.
5. The Defendants will be deemed to have denied the new
allegations as contained in paragraph 8 of the Amended Complaint,
denying that there is insurance coverage under the policy issued
to John Knappman.
