HATFIELD and FLORIDA BANK AT FORT PIERCE, a Florida banking corporation, hereinafter referred to as FLORIDA BANK; WITNESSETH, that ~~HEREAS, J~MES E. HATFIELD did execute and deliver to FLORIDA BANK AT FORT PIERCE a Promissory Note and Mortgage Deed encumbering property described thereon, dated January 8, 1981, which Mortgage Dee~ has been recorded in O. R. Book 346, Page 622 , of the Public Records of Saint Lucie County, Florida; and WHEREAS, said Promissory Note contains a typographical error wherein it calls for payments as follows: Principal payments shall be made quarter-annually upon the eighth day of April, July, October, 1981 and January 8, 1982, upon which date the balance of all principal then outstanding shall Ue paid. WHEREAS, JAMES E. HATFIELD and FLORIDA BANK desire to modify said Promissory Note and Mortgage Deed so to reflect the actual terms of the loan; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, and the payment of One Dollar ($1.00) to each by the other, and other valuable considerations, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, it is hereby covenanted and agreed as fol- lows: 1. That tlie aforesaid payments shall be stated as follows: Interest payments shall be made quarter annually upon the eighth (8th) day of April, July, October, 1981 and January 8, 1982, upon which date the balance of all principal then outstanding shall be paid. 2.
