WHEREAS, the Association owns and liolds the original pro-
missory note and mortgage executed on March llth ,~q 30 .

~ ately due and payable if all or any ~»rt of the property or any

WHEREAS, title to said property is heing transferred and
conveyed to the Owner(s) who wishes to ohtain Association's con-
sent to said transfer and agreement that the credit of the
Owner(s) is satisfactory to the Associ~tion and that the interest
rate payable on the sums secured by said mortgage shall be at
a rate requested by the Association;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and
promises contained herein and for oth~r q~~d and valuable c~n-
siderations, it is hereby agreed that thc~ aforesaid aocuments.
be modif ied as fol lows :
1. The undersigned Owner(s) }icreby expressly assumes
and agrees to pay the indebtedness r~Nresented by~and due on
the aforesaid promissory note and mortq~-~qe and any modifica-
tion or correction thereof in accordance with the terms thereof
and as modified herein. It is agrerd t-h~~t thc unpaid principal
balance of said indebtedness as of FEBR!JFRY 6th , ~g 81 ~

ness sha be 13.50 per cent per annum, beginning on

and any modification thereof without defense or offset a~d

to the same extent as if the Owner(s) wt~s the original maker
thereon. In addition, th~~ Owner(s) ayrces to personally per-
form and to fully abide by all the terms ancl conditions set
forth in said note and mortgage and this agreement.
3. The Association reCOgnizes the Owner(s? as the new
Obligor(s) on the subject loan, appr.oves the credit of same and
