Tom.~ny l:ohinsotl was divorced irom J i 11 rlullins
Robinson in 1966. The r~arriage had ~roduced t~,ro daughCers, ~

Jan and Lisa. In 19b6~ Torrnry began, dating Jean Cox whom he ~ 1
eventually mrirricci in AugusC of 1978. Tommy had becom~ a
diabetic and., shortly after his divorce from Jill, moved in
~ with his mother, Emma Lvu. ~ -
- Between 1966 and 1971+, Tommy worked at various °

jobs. In February of 1974, he began negotiaCing the pur-
chase Qf a grocery store in Paintsville, Robinsc~n's Pic-Pac. ~
k'ith his mother's~assisCance, he was able Co obtain financ-
ing .
Jan and hcr husbancl, Carl Pri_ce, helped run the
I store. 3an kept the books and Carl managed the store. Be-
cause of Torruny's di3betes he was not able to spend f.ull days ~
~ a~ the storc ancl would ~o homc: for na~s in the afternoan. ~

~ Tommy w~~s able to purchase a horae in Paintsville~
~ where he lived with Emma I,ou. Tammy and Jean continued to

~ date. In August, 1975,-Jean came to work as the store's
~ t;ookkeeper.
