right to vote on the matter in question. li any one of the Owners c~ts a vote, it
will thereaiter be conclusively pcesumed for all purposes that such Owner was
acting wlth the autt~c:ity and consent of al! otfier Owners of the same Lot, Unit or
Home. In the event more than one vote is cast for a particular Lot, Unit oc Home, .
none of said votes shall be counted but rather all such votes shal! be deemed void.
B. ~xcept where otherwise requi~ed under the provisions of these
Articles, the Declaratian of Covenants, or By-taw, the aff irmative vote of the
Owners of a majority of lots, units or homes represented at any meeting of the
members duly called and at which a quorum is present shatl be binding upon the
membecs. .
C. The Developer shall have the right to appoint a majority of the Board
of Directors so long as it owns at leazt one (1) Lot, Unit or Home in The Sands
Development. •
D. The Association will obtain funds with which to operate by
as~ssment of its members in accordance with the pcovisions of~ the Declaration of
Covenants of the Association as supplemented by the provisions of the Articles and ~
By-laws of the Association. !
VI. BOARD OF DIRECTORS
A. The af fairs of the Association shall be managed by a Board of
; Directors corzsisting of no less than thre~ (3) and no more than eleven (11) i
< <Jirectors. So long as the D~veloper shall have the right to appoint a majority of

~ the Board of Dirertors, Directors need not be members of the plssociation and

~ need not be residents of the Development; thereafter, all Directors shall be
~ members of the Association and residents of the Devefopment. There shal! be one

~ (1) Director appointed by the Class A Members so long as the Class C Member has

~ the right to appoint a majority of the Board of Directors. Elections shail be by
