A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING TI
MONTH OF NOVEMBER, 2001, i
"ADOPTION AWARENESS MONTH" IN ~
LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie £
the following determinations:
1. Approximately 75 to 100 children in St. Lucie County are waiti]
Nearly all of these children have special needs because of physical, mental
because they must be placed with siblings; because they are children of ¢
school-aged.
2. These children need extra patience and support to help '

3. All children have the right to a forever family; and families are
children who have special needs.
4. It is important to stress that a disability, low income or being si

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Cora
