Approximately 75 to 100 children in St. Lucie County are waiti] Nearly all of these children have special needs because of physical, mental because they must be placed with siblings; because they are children of ¢ school-aged. 2. These children need extra patience and support to help ' hardship. 3. All children have the right to a forever family; and families are children who have special needs. 4. It is important to stress that a disability, low income or being si individuals from adoption. 5. Children waiting for adoptive parents and families who haw require and deserve community and agency support. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Cora Lucie County, Florida: 1.
