AN ORDTNANCE RELATING TO THE VACATING AND ABANDONZNG
OF THAT CERTAIN STX (6) FOOT ALL~X RUNNING NORTH AND
SOUTH IN BLOCK 3 OF LAFOND SUBDIVISION, AS PER PLAT "
THEREOF IN PLAT BOOK 8, AT PAGE 12 OF THE PLBLIC RE-
CORDS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND EXTEf;DING
FROM EASTER AVENUE TO EASTER TERRACE: PROVIDI:NG FOR
A RESERVATION OF UTILITY EASEMENT TO THE CITY OF FORT
PIERCE OVER SAID TREICT: AND PROVIDING FOR THE EPFECTItTE
DATE HEREOF,
WHEREAS, that certain Six (6) Foot a1]~ey running Nortll and
Sou~h in Block 3, of LAFOND SUBUIVSSZON, as per plat thereof in
Plat Boolc 8, at Page 12 of the Public Records of St. Lucie County,
Florida, and extending from Easter Avenue to Easter Terrace, in
the City of Fort Pierce, Florida, has never beeti used for publ3c
purposes as a public street, a11ey, or thorou~hfare and is of no
further public use to the City of Fort Pierce, Floricia, except
for use as a utiiiLy easemen~.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIAIED BY THE PEQPLE OF THE CSTY

` OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That from and after ~he effective dace of this
Ordinance, that certain Six (6) Foo~ alley running North and South
in Block j of LAFOND SUBDIVISION as per plat thereof in Plat Book

~ 8, at page 12 of the Public Records of St. Lucie County,Florida,
; and extending from Easter Avenue t~ Ea.s~er Terrace, ir~ the City

~ of Fort P~erce, Florida, be and the same is hereby closed, vacat-
ed and abandoned as a public street, alley or thorougiifare, sav-

~ ing and reserving unto the City of Fort Pierce, Florida, a Six
; (6) f'oo~ utility easemen~ for all utility purposes over said
tract .
Section 2, This ordinance shall take effect immediately
~ upon final passage.
