WHEREAS, JULIUS CODAY and MATHILDA CODAY, his wife, on
tl~e lOth day of January, 1966, requested in cvriting that the Board
of County Commissioners of St. Lucie C~unty, Florida, close, va-

and renounce and disclaim any right of St. Lucie County and the
public in and to the lands lying within that portion of said road
ric~ht of way in St. Lucie County, Florida, described as follows:
A strip af land across the South 440 feet of Govern-
ment Lot 4, Section 29, Township 35 South, Range 41
East, 100 feet wide, being 50 feet on each side of
the following described centerline to--wit:

being approximately 130 feet West of the top
of the Ocean Beach Bank as it existed on December
5, 1936; thence run in a Southeasterly direction
for a distance of approximately 480 feet to a
point on the sec tion line dividing Sections 29
and 32, Township 35 South, Range 41 East, said `
point being 80 feet, more or less, West of the
top of the Ocean Beach Bank as it existed on , ~
December 5, 1936, -
AND ~
The 66 foot right-of-way across the South 440
feet of Government Lot 4, Section 29, Towrzship
35 South, Range 40 East as described in County
Commission Minute Book 4, at page 350 and

~ WHEREAS, said Board of County Commissioners held a public

hearing on said request on the lst day of February, 1966, after
first publishing a notice of said hearing in The News Tribune, '

Fort Pierce, Florida, on the 17th day of January, 1966s said date
being more than two weeks prior to the day of said hearing, and ~

WHEREAS, at said public hearing there were no objections
to closing, vacating and abandoning sa~c~ road and renouncing and ~
disclaiming any right of St. Lucie County and the public in and
