THIS CAUSE came on before the Court for Final Hearing upon
the 7th day of.March, 1985, and the Court hav~.ng heard the testimony
of the Wife, the Iiusband having ~efaulted in appearance at the hearing,
and being otherwise fully advised in the premises, and having made
the f.ollowing f indings :
1. This Court has jurisdiction of the parties and of the
subj ec ~ matter .
2. The Husband was served with the pleadings ~nitially
and filed a written A~swer; thereafter, the Husband was served with
an Amended Complaint in Okeechobee County, Florida, in December, 1984
and has indicated to the Wife his knowledge of the proceedings.
3. The Husband and Wife were married to each other on
August 13, 1949 on the Island of Okinawa.
4. That the Husband was in the active military service
of the United States of America for a period of more than twenty
(20) years.
5. That the overlap a£ the marriage of the parties and
of the Husband's mi2itary service is more than sixteen (16) years.
6. The marriage of the parties is irretrievably broken.
7. There are no minor children issue of the marriage.
8. The Wife has established a special equity in the former
, marital residence.
9. The Wife is in need of fin~ncial support and
,
maintenance.
10. The Husband is financially able to provide financial
support and maintenance to and for the Wife.
