Fences and Walls: The composition, location ~nd heiqht of any fence and/ar wall to be constructed on any Lot shall be subject to the approval of the ARC. The AIZC shall require the composition of any fence or wall to be consistent with the material used in the surrounding homes and other fences, if any. Approved walls or fences may be no higher than four (4) feet along road sides and perimetets while privacy walls ox fences not to exceed six (6) feet shall be permitted inside the setback area. Chain link and stockade s'tyle fences ar~ prohibited. 15. Landscaping: A basic landscapinq plan for each lot m ust be submitted to and approved by the ARC. The entire Lot, ~ including that portion of the Lot between the street pavement and ' the right-of-way line, shall be maintained. It sha1Z be the goal ~ of the ARC in the approval of any landscaping plan and Iayout ; plan to preserve all existing trees where possible. See the ~ attached Landscape Plan Requirements (Exhibit 'C'). 16. Swimming Pools and Tennis Courts: Any swimming pool or tennis court to be constructed on any Lot shall be subject to the approval of the ARC. Any lighting of a pool or other recreational area shall be designed so as to buffer the surroun- ding residences from the lightinq and must be approved by the ARC. Detached swimminq pools will be approved when unscreened. If a pool enclosure is desired, it must be desiqned as an intergal part of the roof and walls. The structural members must be com posed of materials utilized on or compatible with the main structure of the r~sidence so as to provide a general appearance for the enclosure that blends with the main structure and demonstrates continuity of materials, character and theme. The use of inetals (i.e. anodized, enameled, etc.) for screen attachment purposes may be used upon submission of samples and subject to approval. The use of mill finish aluminum for any purpose will not be approved. I f one owner elects to purchase two (2) adjoining Lots and ~ I use one for recreation purposes, the Lot used for recreational ! p~rposes must be adequately screened by landscapinq and/or walls or fences on both the front and side as required by the ARC. It shall be the intent of the ARC to screen any such use from public view. 17. Garbage and Trash Contait~ers: No Lot shall be used or maintained as a dum ping ground for rubbish, trash or other waste.
