full extent a~ set forth in the referenced plans, ~pecifications,
addenda, and drawings, if any, a~c3 they are as fully a part of
the cantract as if hereto attached os ~erein repeated, and under
security as ~et forth in the attached ietter of credit and ~o the
satisfactfon of t!~e duly authoriaed repres~ntatives of St. Lucie
County, who shall hrve at all times full opportunity to inspect
t;~e materials to be fur~ishzd ~nd the vork to be done under this
agre~ment.
3. It is agreed thnt the vork to be done under thi$
Contract is as follows:
Reclamation activities required pureuant to the
mining permit dated Septe~ber 13, ~976 are to be
completed including removal of the dredge barge
sunk in the lake all located on the folloving ~
described property:
The North 315 feet of the west 337.96 feet of
tbe North one-half of the Sautheast one-
quarter of the Southea~t one-quarter of the
Northeaet one-quarter of S~ction 24, Townehip
35 South, Range 39 Bast, a11 lying and being •
in St. L~cie County, FZorida.
4. The Contractor guarantees to repair, replace, or
otherwise make good to the satisfaction of the ~ounty, any defect
in workmanship or material anpearing in the work; a~d further
guarantees the successful performance of the work for the
intended use. Inspectior~ by the County shall not relieve the
Contractor from his or its obligations to fully perform in
accordance ~vith Chis agreem~nt. If the County deems it
expedient to require the Contractor to correct deficient or
defective Work, the County may sue for damages. 1
5. The Contract~r shall guarantee ~cumpletion of the ~
Contract b~ August l, 1986. The ~vork shall be conducted in such
a manner and with sufficient labor, materials, tools, and
equipment r?ecess~r~ to complete the work within the time lir~it
set for*h in the Contract. Should the organization of. the
Contractor, or its management, or the manner o€ carrying on the ~
r~ork be manifestly incompetent, or inadequate to do the rork
spec~ified within the atated time, then the County shali have the
