estate in the event of my spouse's surviving me, except that
wherever the taking of any interest under Item VI. is depend~nt
upon survivorship at the time of my spouse's death, there shall
be substituted the time of my death for the purposes liereof.

presumed for all purposes under this Will that my sgouse survived
me.
ITEM IX.
I direct that all estate, inlieritance, transfer,
legacy or succession taxes or death duties imposed by any pr~esent
or future law of the United States or of any state or other
country~ which may be assessed or imposed with respect to my
; estate or any part thereof wheresoever situated, whether or not
E passing under my Will, includinq, but not lirnited to, the taxable

~ value of gifts in contemplation of death, jointly held properties
passing by survivorship, property pass~ng by intestacy, or insurance,
shall be paid out of Share No. 2 of my resi~3uary estate, as defi.ned
in Item V. and such payment shall be made as an e~tpense of administration
and without apportionment.
ITEM X.
No Trust created under this, my Last Will and ~
~ Testament, shall be construed to extend b~yond the period permitted
~ by law, and anythin~g contained herzin to the contrary notwithstanding,

shall not sxtend beyond twenty-one years after the death of the
