CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORILA, TO INCLUDE A PARCEL OF ~
LAND LYING NORTH OF CORTEZ BOUI,EVARD, BETWEEN SOUTH i
31ST STREET AND SOUTH 35TH STREET; DIRECTING THE ST. 3
LUCIE COUNTY PROPERTY APpRAISEF T4 ASSESS SAID PROPERTY {
AND PLACE IT ON TI~E CITY TAX ROLLS AS OF JANUARY 1, j
~9$7; DIRECTING THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO j
COLLECT TAXES ON THE ABOVE-DESCRIBED PROPERTY, IF i
APPLICABLE; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE ~
OF THIS ANNEXATION; 20NING SAID LAND; ESTABLISHING THE s
FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION; REpEALING ALL ORDINANCES j
OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. ~

~~BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, ;
~FLORIDA: ;

SECTION l. The territorial limits of the City of Fort '
i
;;Pierce, Florida, be and they are hereby extended to annex to the ~
~'said City a parce2 of land lying north of Cortez Boulevard, '
;~between South 31st Street and South 35th Street, legally des-
;
'cribed as follows: ~
Section 20, T-35-S, R-40-E, That part of S 1/Z of
NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 & SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of
NE 1/4 & Re-S/D of Kirby Loop S/U as in Plat Book ,
8, Page 14, Platted as Port City S/D, Plat Book 10,
; Page 26, and vacated by Resolution ~84-143 & that
part of SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 lying east of ~
South 35th Street and north of NSLRWMD Canal #8. '
(Containing 25.27 acres, mora or less)(Parcel I.D.
2420-132-0002-000/6) ;
SECTION That the St. Lucie County Property Appraiser and ~

the St. I,ucie County Tax Collector are directed to place upon and :
,
~ add to the assessment roll, and to collect the taxes on the Iand
~ described in Section I hereof as of January 1, 1987, and subse-
;quent years, if applicable; and to enter the same at such
~ valuatian that it will bear an equal and just proportion of taxes ;
as of January 1, 1987, and subsequent years, if applicable.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall cause notice of this ~
~
annexation to be published once a week for four consecutive weeks ~
;
; prior to final passage in The News Tribune in Fort Pierce,
Florida. -
SLCTION 4. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective, the !
;
land hereinabove described and annexed to the territorial limits i
I
. of the City of Fort Pierce sha11 be and the same is hereby zoned ;
