RESOLUTION NO. 01-300
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ST. LUCIE
COUNTY MANUAL OF PURCHASING
REGULATIONS BY: CHANGING THE
PROCEDURE FOR APPROVAL OF FIXED
MONTHLY VEHICLE ALLOWANCES AND
APPROVAL FOR OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL FOR
THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR AND BOARD
OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
)rida, has made the following determinations:
WHEREAS, on October 7, 1985, the Board of County Commissioners for
Lucie County (the "Board") adopted Resolution No. 85-212 which established
purchasing regulations and procedures for St. Lucie County, Florida as set
th in the St. Lucie County Manual of Purchasing Regulations Procedures (the
urchasing Manual") and since that date, the Purchasing Manual has been
~ended from time to time, most recently by Resolution No. 01-289; and,
WHEREAS, in order to allow for a more efficient method of approving
?.d monthly vehicle allowances and out-of-state travel for the County
ministrator and Board of County Commissioners, it is necessary to amend the
)cedure for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
~mmissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
The St Lucie County Manual of Purchasing Regulations and
procedures is hereby amended as shown in the attached Exhibit
This resolution shall be effective as of October 1, 2001.
