A6REEMENT TO CONYEY RI6HT-OF-IiAY
FOR ST. LUCIE BOULEYARD EXTENSION TO ST. LUCIE COUNTY
THIS A6REEMENT is between ST. LUCIE GROVES INVESTMENTS
LIMITED, a corporation owning property in St. Lucie County,
Florida, (hereinafter referred to as "St. Lucie Groves") and ST.
LUCIE COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida,
(hereinafter referred to as the "County").
NNEREAS, ST. LUCIE GROVES owns property located in St. Lucie
County, Florida, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" which
is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, and
NHEREAS, the COUNTY is desirous of obtaining additional
right-of-way for the purpose of extending St. Lucie Boulevard to
a point westerly of its present location which would require the
acquisition of additional right-of-way by the COUNTY, including a
certain partion of the property owned by ST. LUCIE GROVES along
the southern boundary of said property, and
WHEREAS, ST. LUCIE GROVES has agreed to convey certain
property which lies within the St. Lucie Boulevard extension
corridor as identified by an engineering study done by Keith and

' Schnars and County staff, said Keith and Schnars Plan being
t attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein as Exhibit

' "B", said plan showing the specific alignment across the southern

boundary of ST. LUCIE GROVES' property af what is describ~d as an

' extension of St. Lucie Boulevard, and
€
~ NHEREAS, ST. LUCIE GROVES has agreed to convey the property
~
~ described in Exhibit "C" which is attached hereto and
~
¢ incorporated by reference herein, and
~
~ IiNEREAS, the COUNTY is in the process of adopting a new
~ comprehensive plan which will affect all property throughout the
~
county, and
WHEREAS, a portion of the property owned by 5T. LUCIE GROVES
has been identified as mixed-use activity area in figure 10-5 of
