County, Florida has made the following determinations: ~

1. A Go-Cart operation has been proposed for location on ~
~
the west side of U. S. Highway 1. ~

; 2. The St. Lucie County Community Development Director has ~

; reviewed the conditional use permit application for the proposed '
' project and determined it not to meet the requirements for a site
;
' development plan, but to be consistent with both the existing
i
zoning and with the future land use maps from the St. Lucie
County Growth Management Policy Plan, if subiect to the
!
~ conditions set forth in Section A of this resolution.

~ 3. On December 7, 1989, the St. Lucie County Planning and
~
~ Zoning Commission held a publf c hearing on ~he proposed
~
~ conditional use, after publishing notice in the Fort Pierce News
~
~ Tribune and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500
€
~
feet of the project at least 15 days prior t~ such hearing, and
recommended that the permit be ~v~roved.
4. On January 9, 1990, this Board held a public hearing on
` the proposed conditional use, after publishing notice of such
~
& hearing in the Fort Pierce News Tribune on December 15, 1989,
