AN ORQINAtiCE REZONIVG PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE SHARRETT DEV~OPMENT
AREA FROM ~JUES PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO A DEVELOPMEN'?'
ORDER TO (GENERAL USE ZONING DISTRICT); PRCVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Generai Development Corporatian previously obtained
a develo~mer.t order pursuant to an applicaticn for dpvelopment
approva~ toc the property kncwn as the Sharrett Development Rrea,
ar.d -
WHEREAS, in conjsnction with the application for development
approval, General Development Corporation petitioned for a zoning
; change :or the property known as the Sharrett Development Area,
:
! which zoning change was approved by City of Pott St. Lucie
~
E Ordinance 81-18, and
i
" WHEREAS, General ~evelopment Corporatio;~ has petitioned for
~
the abandonment of the development order granted pursuant tc the
~
~ application ef develoFment approval for the Sharrett Development
~
~ Area, and
~ WHEREAS, the City of Port St. Lucie Planning and Zoning
~

+ Board held a public hearing on the 6th day of November ,
a

~ 1989, to cansider the rezoning of the Sharrett Development Are.3,
~
~ notice of said hearing to adjoining property owners for a radius
~

of *hree hundred (300) feet having been gi~;en and advertising of
- the public h~aring havinq been made, and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the Z~th
