WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become
available from the Florida Department of Community Affairs through a grant award letter, in the amount of
$79,355 less $2,487 for State of Florida Communication Services. The total funding of $76,868 from the
Emergency Management Preparedness and Assistance Trust Fund is intended to enhance the County's
Emergency Management Program for FY 2010-2011. This Budget Resolution amends Budget
Resolution No. 10-254 by correcting the granYs fund number.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 14th day of December, 2010, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes, that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2010-2011, and the County's budget
is hereby amended as follows:
