A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
FINDING THAT IT IS IN THE PUBLIC'S BEST INTEREST TO AWARD
THE 2011-2012 ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG ABUSE TREATMENT
FUND GRANTTO THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY DRUG LAB PURSUANTTO
SECTION 893.165, FLORIDA STATUTES AND ST. LUCIE COUNTY
CODE AND COMPILED LAWS SECTION 1-7-23
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 893.165, Florida Statutes, the Board has established
an Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Trust Fund; and
WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Drug Lab is a county alcohol and drug abuse
prevention, treatment or education program; and
WHEREAS, the Board wishes to select the St. Lucie County Drug Lab as the recipient
of the Alcohol and other Drug Abuse Trust Fund grant for 2011-2012.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St.
Lucie County, Florida:
Section 1. The St. Lucie County Drug Lab is the recipient of the Alcohol and other
Drug Abuse Trust Fund grant for 2011-2012, which is estimated to be thirty thousand
dollars ($30,000).
Section 2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption
(the "Effective Date")
Section 3. ADOPTION. After motion and second, the vote on this Resolution was
as follows:

Commissioner Paula A. Lewis Aye
Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson Aye
Commissioner Tod Mowery Aye
PASSED AND DULY ENACTED this 2nd day of August, 2011.
