WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District budget, certain
funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the St. Johns River
Water Management District as a grant, in the amount of $12,918, as funding for the County to continue
efforts to restore tidal flow into a 178-acre marsh known as Impoundment 14C (Harbor Branch
Impoundment), to the ?ndian River Lagoon.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District
board to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mosquito Control District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in
meeting assembled this 18th day of October, 2011, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, that
such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2011-2012, and the Mosquito Control District's
budget is hereby amended as follows:
