A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 07-276 AS AMENDED, BY
INCREASING RATES AND ESTABLISHING A GROUP RATE ATTHE ST. LUCIE
COUNTY FAIRWINDS GOLF COURSE; PROVIDING THATTHESE RATES AND
FEES WILL STAY IN EFFECT UNTIL CHANGED BY SUBSEQUENT
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD; AND FURTHER BY PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following
determinations:
1. On July 12, 2005, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, adopted
Resolution No. 05-261 which increased the green fee rates for the Fairwinds Golf Course by 109'o effective
October 1, 2005. The increase was the first time Fairwinds' green fee rates had been increased in five years.
2. On October 10, 2006, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida,
adopted Resolution No. 06-340 which increased the 18-hole green fees with Golf Cart Rates by one dollar
($1.00) per person.
3. On September 25, 2007, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida,
adopted Resolution No. 07-276, which increased the 18-hole and 9-hole green fees with Golf Cart Rates by
one dollar ($1.00) per person; and,
4. It has become increasingly difficult to keep up with rising costs, and it is necessary to
increase the fees and establish a group rate to cover these rising costs.
Florida:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
1. This Board does hereby amend Resolution No. 07-276 as amended, to increase all Green
Fees with Golf Carts by $1.00 plus the necessary increment to bring the fee to an even dollar amount,
including tax, per person, and establish a group rate.
2. The St. Lucie County Fairwinds Golf Courses' Rates and Fees Schedule for Fiscal Year 2011-
2012 is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibits "A"and "B".
3. The increase of all Green Fees with Golf Carts as described herein shall become effective
on November 2, 2011.
4. The Rates and Fees Schedule attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A" shall
continue in effect unless changed by subsequent Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners.

Definitions:
Effective Date: December 26, 2011
Public -Any person who could like to play golf
Group -Groups of 32 or more who play golf once a week year round
Card -Resident or property owner of St. Lucie County or Florida who pay the appropriate fee
$75 or $100 annually to receive discount rates and other privileges.
EXHIBIT B
Proposal -Fairwinds Group Rate 2011-2012
lusti~cation:
There have been dozens of groups seeking places to play over the past several years. Currently we
are only able to offer these groups tee times at the regular rate. This has been sufficient enough in
the past to help fill gaps in the tee sheet during off peak times. Unfortunately, it has been
increasingly difficult to attract these groups due to other facilities offering group discounts.
Therefore, staff recommends that a large group rate be established which will allow us to attract
these groups by offering them a competitive rate. This is an advantage for Fairwinds by having large
consistent groups available to fill the off peak times on the tee sheet.
Grouu Qualifications:
32+ Paid Players Per Event
Group Event at Fairwinds Once or More Times Per Week
Year-Round Commitment
*Tee times are at the sole discretion of the Golf Course Staff
Group Rates:
December 26 thru April 6
$46.01+Tax = $49.00
November 1 thru December 24 & April 7 thru May 26
$30.99+Tax = $33.00
May 27 thru October 31
$24.41+Tax = $26.00
