WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Erosion District's Budget, certain funds
not anticipated at the time of the budget have become available from the Florida Department of
Environmental Protection through a Second Amendment, in the amount of $890,00, as funding for the
Fort Pierce Shore Protection Project.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Erosion District to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Erosion District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting
assembled this 18th day of October 2011, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, such funds
are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2011-2012, and the Erosion District's budget is hereby
amended as follows:

184215-3710-546340-3630 Maintenance-Beach Renourishment $715,000
