HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-003 MCDRESOLUTION NO. 11-003 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District budget, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the FishAmerica Foundation, through its partnership with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a grant, in the amount of $50,000, as funding for the County to increase tidal flushing as needed to fully restore functioning habitat within the impounded salt marsh and mangrove forest at Impoundment 6 (Blind Creek Park. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District board to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mosquito Control District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 20th day of December, 2011, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2011-2012, and the Mosquito Control District's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 145126-6230-331393-6953 APPROPRIATIONS 145126-6230-534000-6953 145126-6230-563000-6953 National Oceanic & Atmos. Admin.
