WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District budget, certain
funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the Florida
Department of Environmental Protection, as a grant in the amount of $28,000, as funding for the County
to construct the Queens Island Preserve Recreational Trail on North Hutchinson Island.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District
board to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mosquito Control District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in
meeting assembled this 3rd day of April, 2012, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, that such
funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2011-2012, and the Mosquito Control Districts budget is
hereby amended as follows:
