RESOLUTION NO. 12-053
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT
OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT FEDERALLY FUNDED
SUB-GRANT AGREEMENT (#1561-135-R) FOR INDIAN
RIVER ESTATES STORMWATER PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRPERSON TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY
ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY
APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The Florida Department of Emergency Management has awarded the
County funding for Indian River Estates Stormwater Project (#1561-135-R).
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Federally
Funded Sub-Grant Agreement with the Florida Department of Emergency Management
for the above-referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Federally Funded Sub-Grant
Agreement with the Florida Department of Emergency Management (#1561-135-R) to
provide funding for Indian River Estates Stormwater Project.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chairperson to execute the above-
referenced agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the
agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
