WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District budget, certain
funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the South Florida
Water Management District, as an Indian River Lagoon License Plate grant in the amount of $21,350, as
funding for the County to install culverts in Blind Creek Park to generate improved tidal range for wetlands
in the Blind Creek Marsh and Mangrove Restoration Project on South Hutchinson Island.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District
board to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mosquito Control District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in
meeting assembled this 17t" day of April, 2012, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, that such
funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2011-2012, and the Mosquito Control District's budget is
hereby amended as follows:

APPROPRIATIONS
145835-6230-563000-126600 Infrastructure $21,350
