A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING RESOLUTION N0.12-093
TO CORRECT SCRIVENER'S ERRORS IN THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF
PRECINCTS NO. 6, NO. 13, AND NO. 85 AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the
following determinations:
1. On May 15, 2012, at the request of the Supervisor of Elections of St. Lucie County,
the Board adopted Resolution No. 12-093, which amended Resolution No. 07-110 by creating and
amending certain election precinct boundaries and polling locations.
2. Due to scrivener's errors in the legal description in Section 2, Election Precinct 6;
Section 9, Election Precinct 13; and in Section 58, Election Precinct 85, it is necessary to amend
Resolution No. 12-093.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
1. Section 2 shall be amended to read as follows:
Section 2. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 6 are hereby altered to
incorporate a portion of Election Precinct No. 28 and all of Election Precinct No. 88.
The voting place for said Election Precinct No. 6 shall be at the Orange Blossom
Business Center, 4132 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34947.
2. Section 9 shall be amended to read as follows:
Section 9. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 13 are hereby altered to
incorporate all of Election Precinct No. 81 and portions of Precinct No.'s 32 and 55.
. The voting place for said Election Precinct No. 13 shall be at the Fenn Center, 2000
Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
3. Section 58 shall be amended to read as follows:
Section 58. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 85 are hereby altered to
incorporate all of Election Precinct No. 87 and a portion of Precinct 55. The voting
place for Election Precinct 85 shall be at Indian River State College, Schreiber
Conference Center, 500 NW California Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986.
4. This resolution shall take effect on the date of adoption.
PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED this 19th day of June, 2012.
