WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become
available from the Florida Department of Transportation through a Joint Participation Agreement, in the
amount of $1,200,000, as funding for right-of-way land acquisition and improvements to the New Port
Entrance (2"d Street) in the Port of Fort Pierce
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 19th day of June, 2012, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes, that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2011-2012, and the County's budget
is hereby amended as follows:

140376-4315-334411-46502 FDOT-Transportation $1,200,000
APPROPRIATIONS
140376-4315-561000-46502 Land $1,200,000
