HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-108RESOLUTION NO. 12-108 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the Department of Homeland Security through the Florida Division of Emergency Management as a Federally Funded Sub-grant Agreement, in the amount of $89,806. The funding from the Emergency Management Pertormance Grant (EMPG) is intended to help fund the communications, utilities, and equipment maintenance for the St. Lucie County Emergency Operations Center. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 19th day of June, 2012, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2011-2012, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 001548-2510-331233-200 Dept of Homeland Security $89,806 APPROPRIATIONS 001548-2510-541000-200 Communications $41,203 001548-2510-543000-200 Utilities $41,203 001548-2510-546000-200 Equipment Maintenance $ 7,400 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Tod Mowery, Chairman AYE Commissioner Paula Lewis, Vice Chair AYE Commissioner Chris Craft AYE Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson AYE PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED THIS 19TH DAY OF JUNE 2012.
