HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-010 EDRESOLUTION NO. 12-010 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Erosion District's Budget, certain funds not anticipated at the time of the budget have become available from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection as a grant in the amount of $4,609,495, as funding for the County to implement beach erosion control with the South St. Lucie County Beach Restoration Project. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Erosion District to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Erosion District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 2nd day of October 2012, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2011-2012, and the Erosion District's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUES 184217-3710-334391-36203 Dept of Environmental Prot-Phys Env $4,609,495 APPROPRIATIONS 184217-3710-531000-36203 Professional Services $ 936,435 184217-3710-546340-36203 Maintenance-Beach Renourishment $3,673,060 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson, Chair AYE Commissioner Tod Mowery, Vice-Chairman AYE Commissioner Chris Craft AYE Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky AYE Commissioner Paula A.
