WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Erosion District's Budget, certain funds
not anticipated at the time of the budget have become available from the Florida Department of
Environmental Protection as a grant in the amount of $4,609,495, as funding for the County to implement
beach erosion control with the South St. Lucie County Beach Restoration Project.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Erosion District to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Erosion District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting
assembled this 2nd day of October 2012, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, such funds are
hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2011-2012, and the Erosion District's budget is hereby amended
as follows:
