LUCIE COUNTY, 8 FLORIDA. 9 10 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, based on 11 the testimony and evidence, including, but not limited to the staff report, has made the 12 following determinations: 13 14 1. United Pentecostal Fire Ministries Trinity International Inc. requested an 15 Amendment to the Official Zoning Atlas to Change the Zoning from the RS-2 16 (Residential, Single Family - 2 du/ac) Zoning District to the !(Institutional) Zoning 17 District for a.92 acre parcel, depicted on the attached map as Exhibit "A" and 18 described below. 19 20 2. On October 18, 2012, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission held 21 a public hearing on the petition, after publishing notice at least 10 days prior to the 22 hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subje~t 23 property, and recommended that the Board of County Commissioners approve the 24 change in zoning from the RS-2 (Residential, Single Family - 2 du/ac) Zoning 25 District to the I(Institutional) Zoning District. 26 27 3. On December 4, 2012, this Board held a public hearing on the petition, after 28 publishing notice at least 10 days prior to the hearing and notifying by mail all 29 owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property. 30 31 4. The proposed change in zoning has satisfied the requirements of Section 32 11.06.03 of the St. Lucie County Land Development Gode and is consistent with 33 the goals, objectives, and policies of the St. Lucie County Comprehensive Plan. 34 35 5. The proposed change in zoning is consistent with the existing and proposed use 36 of property in the surrounding area. 37 38 6. A Concurrency Deferral Affidavit, a copy which is attached to this Resolution, was 39 signed by the applicant on July 23, 2012. 40 Page 1 Resolution No. 12-118 December 4, 2012 RZ 820124496 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. 2 Lucie County, Florida: 3 4 A. The proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Atlas from the RS-2 (Residential, 5 Single Family - 2 du/ac) Zoning District to the I(Institutional) Zoning District for 6 that property depicted on the attached map as Exhibit "A" and described below is 7 approved. 8 9 Legal Description: 10 Lots 21 and 22, Block 38, Indian River Estates Unit 4, according to the plat 11 thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 10, Page 49, of the Public Records of St. Lucie 12 County, Florida 13 Parcel ID No.: 3402-605-0135-0005 14 15 Location: North side of East Midway Road, adjacent to the east side of the 16 North St. Lucie River Water Control District Canal No. 22, approximately .5 17 miles east of US Highway 1. 18 19 B. The Planning and Development Services Director is hereby authorized and 20 directed to cause the change to be made on the Official Zoning Map of St. Lucie 21 County, Florida, and to make notation of reference to the date of adoption of this 22 Resolution. 23 24 C. A copy of this Resolution shall be mailed, return receipt requested, to the owner 25 and agent of record as identified on the application. 26 27 D.
