HomeMy WebLinkAbout13-002 MCDRESOLUTION NO. 13-002 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District budget, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the South Florida Water Management District, through its partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, as a grant in the amount of $999,403, as funding for the County to conduct wetland restoration activities within Impoundment 14C for the Harbor Branch Preserve Mangrove Restoration Project. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District board to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mosquito Control District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 19th day of February, 2013, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2012-2013, and the Mosquito Control District's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 145128-6233-331391-136601 US Dept of Interior-Fish&Wildlife. $999,403 APPROPRIATIONS 145128-6233-563000-136601 Infrastructure $999,403 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Tod Mowery, Chairman AYE Commissioner Kim Johnson, Vice Chair AYE Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky AYE Commissioner Paula Lewis AYE Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson AYE PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED THIS 19TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 2013.
