HomeMy WebLinkAbout13-092RESOLUTION NO. 13-092 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available through a donation from the Smithsonian Institution in the amount of $7,500. The donation will be used towards the purchase and installation of a new LED sign at Museum Pointe Park, which is the location of the St. Lucie County Aquarium, featuring the Smithsonian Marine Ecosystems Exhibit. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 21st day of May, 2013, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2012-2013, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 129-7215-366930-137600 Contributions from Private Sources $7,500 APPROPRIATIONS 129-7215-563000-137600 Infrastructure $7,500 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Tod Mowery, Chairman AYE Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson, Vice Chair AYE Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky AYE Commissioner Paula Lewis AYE Commissioner Kim Johnson AYE PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED THIS 21ST DAY OF MAY 2013.
