HomeMy WebLinkAbout13-130RESOLUTION 13-130 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, as a Local Government Energy Efficient Lighting Grant in the amount of $250,000, as funding for the St. Lucie Saves -Energy-Efficient Lighting Project. The County will be able to replace inefficient lighting with energy efficient lighting at Ilous Ellis and Horatio Grisby Parks, and the St. Lucie County Regional History Center. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 2nd day of July, 2013, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2012-2013, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 001453-7210-334915-127605 FL Dept of Agriculture & Consumer $110,740 001453-7210-334915-127604 FL Dept of Agriculture & Consumer $135,740 001453-7210-334915-700 FL Dept of Agriculture & Consumer $3,520 APPROPRIATIONS 001453-7210-563000-127605 Infrastructure $110,740 001453-7210-563000-127604 Infrastructure $135,740 001453-7210-563000-700 Infrastructure $3,520 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Tod Mowery, Chairman AYE Commissioner Frannie Hutchinson, Vice Chair AYE Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky AYE Commissioner Paula Lewis AYE Commissioner Kim Johnson AYE PASSED AND DULY'~1~`'1rD THIS 2ND DAY OF JULY 2013.
