WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become
available in the form of a Class Action Lawsuit Settlement payment from McKesson Corporation in the
amount of $26,557.77 for the overpayment of brand name prescription drugs that were listed on the
published benchmark price list known as the Average Wholesale Price.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 20th day of August, 2013, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2012-2013, and the County's budget
is hereby amended as follows:
REVENUE
505-1900-369930-1911 Reimbursements $26,558
APPROPRIATIONS
505-1900-531054-1911 Prescription Claims $26,558
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows:
