WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become
available from the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program in the amount of $37,000 for a lagoon
education program.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 1st day of October, 2013, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2013-2014, and the County's budget
is hereby amended as follows:

APPROPRIATIONS
001824-3715-513000-100 Salaries Part Time $22,000
001824-3715-540000-100 Travel $15,000
