WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become
available from the State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management, in the amount of $124,232
Severe Repetitive Loss grant for land elevation at 10701 South Ocean Drive.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 15th day of October, 2013, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2013-2014, and the County's budget
is hereby amended as follows:

001527-5420-546200-500 Maintenance Improvement Projects $121,699
