WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become
available from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) in the amount of $212,219 for the Community
Services FTA 5316 for the Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC) grant. This grant provides
transportation and related supportive activities to improve access to employment for persons with low
incomes, as well as to provide reverse commute trips for the public.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 1st day of October, 2013, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2013-2014, and the County's budget
is hereby amended as follows:

130117-4910-512000-400 Salaries $ 20,000
130117-4910-582015-400 Council on Aging $ 10,000
130117-4910-582023-400 Assoc Retarded Citizens $182,219
