WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become
available from the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs thru the Treasure Coast Homeless Services
Council in the amount of $40,000 for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families grant.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 15th day of October, 2013, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2013-2014, and the County's budget
is hereby amended as follows:
REVENUE
001557-6420-331520-600 U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs $40,000
APPROPRIATIONS
001557-6420-512000-600 Salaries $40,000
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows:
