WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District's budget, funds
not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from the Florida Department
of Environmental Protection, as a grant in the amount of $82,950, as funding for the County to construct
the Queens Island Preserve II Recreational Trail System on North Hutchinson Island.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District
to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mosquito Control District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in
meeting assembled this 6th day of May, 2014, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such
funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2013-2014, and the Mosquito Control District's budget is
hereby amended as follows:
REVENUE
145129-6230-331130-310085 Federal Highway Administration $82,950
APPROPRIATIONS
145129-6230-546200-310085 Maintenance Improvement Projects $82,950
