AN ORDER GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A DEFERRAL TO CONSTRUCT
THE REQUIRED PARKING LOT WITH AN ALTERNATE PAVING
MATERIAL (MILLINGS) SURFACE FOR THE PROJECT KNOWN AS CAST
STONE INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Planning and Development Services Director has
reviewed the request for a deferral to construct a parking lot with an approved alternate
paving material for Cast Stone International Corporation and made the following
determinations:
1. On August 1, 1990, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, adopted the St. Lucie County Land Development Code and has adopted
amendments to the Land Development Code through certain ordinances.
2. On May 15, 2012, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, adopted Ordinance 12-003 granting the Planning and Development
Services Director the authority to allow for deferrals of certain improvements.
3. On April 29, 2013, the County Engineer per Land Development Code, Section
7.06.02(8)(3) approved plans to construct a parking lot with an alternative paving
material (millings) for the subject property legally described in Part B.
4. Planning Staff has performed an analysis of this proposed deferral and determined
it to be consistent with the general purpose, goals, and objectives of the St. Lucie
County Comprehensive Plan, the Land Development Code and Ordinance No. 12-
003and is in the best interest of the health, safety and public welfare of the citizens
of St. Lucie County, Florida. The analysis is found in the Planning and
Development Services Department Memorandum entitled Cast Stone International
Corporation -Ordinance No. 12-003 -WDA Paving Deferral and dated May 23,
2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED: by the Planning and Development Services
Director of St. Lucie County, Florida:
A. Pursuant to Ordinance 12-003, a request from Cast Stone International
Corporation to defer the completion date to no later than one (1) year from the date
of this Order for the installation of millings as an alternative paving surface for the
required parking lot is hereby approved. This site work shall be in conformance

April 26, 2013 by the Planning Division of St. Lucie County and approved on April
29, 2014 by the County Engineer.
