WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County .Commissioners budget
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become
available from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the amount of $143,616 for
the Community Services Shelter Plus Chronic grant.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 12th day of August, 2014, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2013-2014, and the County's budget
is hereby amended as follows:

APPROPRIATIONS
001565-6420-583000-600 Other Grants and Aids $143,616
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows:
