WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Erosion District's Budget for St. Lucie
County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available from
the South Florida Water Management District, as a grant in the amount of $13,400, as funding for the
County to construct an Oyster Reef along the Indian River Lagoon in Fort Pierce. The project will add
approximately 4,000 square feet of reef to the Riverwalk Oyster Project Site off Indian River Veterans
Memorial Park.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Erosion District to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Erosion District of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting
assembled this 21st day of October, 2014, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such
funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2014-2015, and the Erosion District's budget is hereby
amended as follows:
