A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING NOVEMBER 15, 2015 AS
"RETIRED EDUCATORS DAY" IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida,has made the
following determinations:
1. St. Lucie County's education system is a vital part of the well-being of our state,
providing education for people of all ages.
2. At the heart of our education system is the educator,who is devoted to sharing his or her
knowledge with students.
3. St. Lucie County is home to many retired educators who have spent much of their lives
giving their time, energy, and best efforts to our students,
4. It is fitting that we celebrate and recognize St. Lucie County's retired educators for their
dedication to empowering students and strengthening our local and statewide communities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
1. This Board does hereby proclaim November 15, 2015 as "RETIRED EDUCATORS DAY" in
St. Lucie County, Florida.
2. This Board does hereby extend greetings and best wishes to all observing November 15,
2015 as "Retired Educators Day".
