HomeMy WebLinkAbout16-002RESOLUTION NO. 16-002 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become available in the form of a Chase Settlement Grant from the State of Florida Office of the Attorney General, in the amount of $25,283.32, as funding for a project to provide persons of poverty with the skills necessary to move from poverty to prosperity. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 5th day of January, 2016, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2015-2016, and the County's budget is hereby amended as follows: REVENUE 001462-6420-337645-600 Florida Office of the Attorney General $25,284 APPROPRIATIONS 001462-6420-534000-600 Other Contractual Services $11,550 001462-6420-552000-600 Operating Supplies $13,734 After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Commissioner Kim Johnson, Chairman Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky, Vice Chairman Commissioner Tod Mowery Commissioner Paula A.
