HomeMy WebLinkAbout16-114WHEREAS, the Erosion District Board of St. Lucie County, Florida ("District") and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection ("DEP") have adopted the Fort Pierce Inlet Management Plan and desires to implement the recommendations contained therein; and, WHEREAS, the District has established a Long -Range Budget Plan for the Florida Beach kidna* &z.m4iit ii!i�,flt-mtiit s�xtcific prajects c*eit2,i&ti therein; and, WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 161.101, Florida Statutes, DEP accepts and processes applications for the Florida Beach Management Funding Assistance Program; and, WHEREAS, under the Program guidelines of the Florida Beach Management Funding Assistance Program, the District is required to submit a supporting resolution with their application request. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Erosion District Board of St. Lucie County, Florida, as follows: 1. DEP is requested to approve and support the maximum State funding allowed for this application request for Fiscal Year 2017/18 and the District will provide the local share in M, q�=1;11 TiTylp" 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
